DRESS CODE ACCORDING TO CLASS
Correct dance attire must always be always worn in class, following the TEDS dress code detailed below. If your dance attire from last season’s recital still fits you, there is no need to repurchase; it’s fine to wear it in our new season.

What are Transition Tights, and do I need them?
Transition tights are regular full footed tights with a hole in the sole that allows the dancer to roll the tights up over their ankles and go barefoot. These are recommended for dancers who will be changing from covered dance shoes to bare feet, half-soles, etc. (e.g. modern, lyrical, acro). If your dancer uses covered shoes only, regular tights are fine. If your dancer is enrolled in Acro only, tights are not necessary at all. S/he may take class in bare legs/feet.

We recommend purchasing your leotards, tights, and dance shoes from Capezio at 330 Washington Street in Wellesley; they offer great service and have our dress code on file. However, you may choose another brand and purchase elsewhere if your items meet the required style and color. Alternate links provided below.
NOTE: The Caramel color specified for ballet shoes, jazz shoes, tap shoes, and tights, as well as the Light Suntan color specified for the lyrical half-soles, are Capezio brand colors that will be used in the recital next spring. Therefore, we strongly recommend purchasing these specific items from Capezio.
Hip-Hop attire should be purchased directly from TEDS as indicated below.
