  • Ricky Cushing

    Ricky is an industry experienced dancer, choreographer and teacher. He began his dance training at the age of 9 on the North Shore. Over the past many years, he has been intensely studying Tap, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Modern and Hip-Hop. Ricky has received several awards such as the “Future Star Award” presented by Dance Spirit Magazine and “Young Choreographer of The Year” at the American Dance Awards. Ricky studied dance arts and choreography at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. After training at Marymount, Ricky decided the Los Angeles dance industry would be the best fit for his work. He choreographed for singer/songwriter, Kate Nash whose music has been featured on So You Think You Can Dance. Aside from years of company work, Ricky has been featured on television shows such as Pretty Little Liars, House, Criminal Minds, Gilmore Girls and many others. He recently decided it was time to get back to his roots and relocate back to Boston. Ricky looks forward to continuing his training, while sharing his love and knowledge of dance with his students.

  • Frankie Manzon

    Frankie has been teaching at TEDS since 2019, she is passionate about creativity, strength and movement, and hopes to instill these same values in her students. Frankie has been dancing since the age of three and trained at Paulettes Ballet Studio under the direction of Paulette Harwood. There she fell in love with dance, and eventually worked alongside her teachers as an assistant before teaching her own classes. Throughout the years she has continued to train in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop. She continued to dance in college at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and served as captain of their Division 1A Dance Team. There she had the opportunity to compete in national competitions around the country. Teaching at TEDS is the dream, where Frankie can share her love of dance with her students and fellow teachers.

  • Jacqui Santamaria

    Jacqui has been dancing since the age of 3, training under the direction of Paulette Harwood at Paulette’s Ballet Studio, and eventually teaching alongside her as an assistant. In addition to her studio time, Jacqui also served as Captain for the Needham High School Varsity Dance Team for her Junior and Senior years, leading the team to a number of regional and state titles. After graduating high school and completing the DTCB Dance Education Training Program, she continued to pursue dance at the University of New Hampshire where she performed and competed with the school’s Varsity Dance Team, and studied Ballet, Tap and Jazz through the school’s Theatre and Dance program. Since joining the TEDS faculty in 2019, Jacqui has loved sharing her passion for dance and teaching her students how to build confidence, poise, and discipline through the art of movement and self-expression.

  • Katie Suyematsu

    Katie grew up in Wellesley, MA where she began dancing at the age of three, training in the following styles of dance: Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, and Musical Theatre. She began teaching her own dance classes at age sixteen. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Roger Williams University in 2014, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Performance Studies and a minor in Biology. Katie has been teaching dance full time ever since at studios and public schools in the Greater-Boston, MetroWest, and South Shore areas of MA. She has been teaching at TEDS since 2021. When Katie is not teaching, she is performing with Boston-based dance companies. Currently, she is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Mosaic Dance Inc., a multi-genre adult dance company and 501(c)(3) organization. Katie wears many “hats” as a teacher and performer. She is able to blend both worlds seamlessly through her versatility, passion, and creativity. As a dance educator, Katie hopes to instill the same love for dance that her teachers instilled in her at a very young age.

  • Joelle Young Patil

    Joelle has been dancing since age 3, training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, belly dance, and ballroom. Driven by an unshakable passion for dance and a deep commitment to be an inspiring teacher for her students, she continually engages in opportunities to pursue training and education. As a Paulette's Ballet Studio alumnus, a former USFSA competitive figure skater with the Skating Club of Boston, and an active certified group fitness instructor, Joelle loves to showcase how dance enriches strength, musicality, and artistry in every aspect of life. She is dedicated to fostering a positive, supportive environment where students can confidently embrace the challenges and joys of dancing and discover their full potential!

  • Laura Lagman

    Laura started dancing at age 3 under Paulette Harwood. After a rough start her first year, she returned the following year and never looked back. She started assisting classes while in high school and joined the faculty of Paulette’s Ballet Studio while in college. The dance studio has always been Laura’s second home and dance is her passion. She was thrilled when Alicia and Gemma invited her to join the faculty at Total Eclipse Dance Studio, getting to share her love of dance with both her students and her daughter.

  • Sue Horton

    I have loved to dance for as long as I can remember. I started dancing at the age of six and haven’t stopped since.  I grew up dancing at Paulette’s Ballet Studio in Newton. I studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and character at Paulette’s.  I attended Skidmore College, where I studied classical ballet and modern, though I graduated with a degree in Business/Math.  Most recently I was on the faculty of Paulette’s Ballet Studio in Newton and Medfield, teaching ballet and modern. I am thrilled to be a part of Total Eclipse Dance Studio. I love teaching and sharing the passion, beauty and art of dance with students and feel so fortunate to be able to continue my teaching career at Total Eclipse.

  • Kerri Andrews

    Kerri is a dedicated and passionate dance instructor who began her journey at the age of 3. With extensive training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. She holds a degree in dance from Dean College and extends her teaching and love of artistry into the world of gymnastics, specializing in floor and beam. Additionally, Kerri choreographs dynamic floor routines for competitive gymnasts. Her teaching philosophy centers around fostering confidence, building meaningful relationships, and nurturing a love for dance in a supportive and caring environment.

  • Olivia Craig

    Olivia brings a lifelong passion for dance and a strong foundation in classical and contemporary training to TED’s. She trained extensively in ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and other styles, both technically and competitively, while participating in numerous ballet and traditional dance competitions.

    During high school, Olivia worked at her home studio while pursuing additional training through prestigious summer programs, including the Joffrey Ballet School Ballet Intensive, Joffrey Ballet School Jazz & Contemporary Intensive, Rockettes Summer Intensive, and University of North Carolina School of the Arts Ballet Summer Intensive.

    Olivia went on to earn her Degree in Dance in New York City, where she continued her conservatory training. In her free time you could find her at  studios including Steps on Broadway, Peridance Center, and Broadway Dance Center. While living in NYC, She also loved experiencing live performances throughout New York City, from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and New York City Ballet to Broadway productions.

    Throughout her dance journey, Olivia has developed a passion for sharing the gift of dance with the next generation. She loves helping dancers build strong technique while fostering confidence, creativity, musicality, and a genuine love for movement. She is excited to share her passion and experience with the Total Eclipse family!
